- The ESL Department has been offering English language studies since 1970's
- Programs available for international students on our main campus in Kamloops
- The majority of students in the ESL Department are on student visas studying in the College English-as-a-Second Language (CESL) program and in selected academic programs
- Currently there are more than 30 experienced and dedicated instructors teaching in the ESL Department
- Adjusting to your English skills
- TOEFL and IELTS accepted but not required
- Combine ESL and academic courses
- Transfer to full-time academic study after ESL
- You must be 17 years or older with High School completion.

General Fees: CDN $452.00/semester
ESL Tuition Fees: CDN $6,900.00/semester
Undergraduate Tuition Fees: CDN $6,900.00/semester
(three meals each day with a private furnished room in a Canadian family home)
Homestay Placement Fee: CDN$150.00 Security Deposit: CDN$600.00

You apply for admission to your program of choice and supply the required documentation necessary for admission.
Step 2)
Registration (Enrollment in Courses,) if required.
Once you are admitted, you enroll in the courses you want to take, in accordance with
the instructions contained in the "Registration Notice" mailed to you. In some programs,
students are pre-enrolled into the appropriate courses for their program of study.
Step 3)
Payment of Fees
Registration is not complete until your full fees are received by TRU.
